Sweetbriar/Ridgeway Terrace Apartments
UTHSC Randolph Hall
Built in 1970 as a domitory at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center (UTHSC), Randolph Hall at 790 Madison Avenue, which is at the intersection of Madison Ave. and Manassas Street, was brought down in the summer of 2014. It had not been used as a residence hall for quite some time and had converted to university offices more recently before being vacated all together. The UTHSC master plan shows the area will be the site of a new Recreation Building, part of an expansion of the Student and Alumni Center which is immediately east of the site. The state had demolition of the building in its proposed budget for more than a decade, recommending $1-million in funding for razing it.

Almost gone. Demolition has taken the building down to one or two stories above ground level as of August, 2014.
